Missed Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 Step Increases for Eligible Employees Took Effect May 4
FY 2013 budget agreements approved by the Board of Education last summer included missed FY 2011 step increases for eligible employees. Pay increases that resulted from the FY 2011 make-up step took effect on May 4, 2013, the first day of the May 4–May 17, 2013 pay period. If you are eligible for the FY 2011 step increase, you will receive it beginning with your May 31, 2013 paycheck. This is because MCPS employees are paid two weeks after the last day of a pay period. Workers Compensation Immediate Care Facilities
On July 1, 2012, CorVel became the third party claims administrator for workers compensation. Please visit Workers’ Compensation Leave for additional information.
Prudential Long-Term Care Insurance Update
After June 30, 2013, Prudential Life Insurance Company of America will no longer offer LTC insurance, but will continue to administer it for currently enrolled employees and for new employees who purchase it by June 30.
