The Substitute Employee Management System is accessible by telephone and Web and allows teachers, school administrators, school administrative secretaries/timekeepers, and special education paraeducators to enter absences and substitutes to obtain job assignments. All users can review past and future jobs.
Important information regarding the upgrade to
the Substitute Employee Management System
MCPS has launched an upgraded Substitute Employee Management System for the 2011–2012 school year.
As a result of the upgrade, there are a number of changes/enhancements users should be aware of. For instance, there has been a change to the way absences are created. Teachers and Special Education Paraeducators:
ALL teachers and special education paraeducators should use the substitute’s Employee ID Number (EIN) and NOT his/her telephone number when prearranging a substitute for an assignment. If you do not have the substitute’s EIN, you can use the Name Look Up tab.
