  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities:  Meetings and "On-the-spot" interviews and admissions
  • January 10, 2010:  Financial Aid Workshops for Spanish speaking students and parents.  1-4 p.m. - Gaithersburg High School  
  • Registration is open for the 2010 Hispanic Youth Symposium, to take place at Towson University June 28-July2, 2010. This four-day, three-night college residency program brings Hispanic high school students together with the mission of providing them with the vision, resources, and mentorship needed to attain successful careers and become community leaders. The Symposium rests upon three pillars: College, Career, and Community. For more information and registration go to www.hispanicyouth.org  

  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) College Fair-- This event will take place at Richard Montgomery High School on Wednesday February 17, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Students in Grades 9-12 and their parents are invited to meet with representatives from over 50 HBCUs. Seniors will be able to participate in on-the-spot admission/scholarship interviews with several HBCUs.  Interested students should sign up in their school's college and career information center by February 8, 2010.
