MCPS Launches Innovation Schools Initiative

Superintendent Joshua Starr has announced the first 10 MCPS schools that will participate in a new initiative to improve student performance and narrow achievement gaps. The Innovation Schools will receive strategic support in designing and implementing school improvement strategies and professional learning plans that will accelerate student progress and narrow achievement gaps.
