Instructional Leadership Teams/Professional Learning Communities

Program Overview:    

Many Leadership Teams and Professional Learning Communities struggle because they do not have the trust and structures necessary to effectively address challenging issues. This is especially true for schools and offices working to confront race and the achievement gap. The Study Circles Program provides facilitators, coaching, and a proven process to help teams:  

  • Engage in honest and productive dialogue around race and equity 

  • Hear a broad range of experiences and perspectives  

  • Identify and examine institutional barriers (beliefs, practices, and policies)  

  • Collaboratively work to eliminate the barriers
