College Admission Process During COVID-19

This virtual talk show discusses various issues about how to navigate the college admissions process during COVID-19. Topics include grading and reporting, SAT/ACTs, AP exams, college tours, funding and more. The program answers questions that high school juniors and their families submitted prior to the show's taping. Hosted by Karen Crews, Supervisor of School Counseling, the show features the following guests:

Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 6:00–7:30 pm.

Students and their families are invited to attend a special virtual USG Information Session specifically for MCPS students and families to explore local college options. The event will start with an overview and student panel highlighting the cost-effective MC-USG Pathway, and will be followed by the chance to enter breakout rooms to learn more about applying to MC, special benefits for ACES students, and the student experience throughout the pathway. All attendees will receive next steps regarding their majors of interest and the college process.
