2026 Sustainability Poster Contest

The Sustainability and Compliance Team holds an annual poster contest to increase awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability, energy conservation, waste reduction, and responsible recycling. Students and staff are invited to participate in the contest, and then to vote online to determine the winning entries in the spring. Please note that we have extended the submission deadline; it is now April 13.

2026 Sustainability Poster Contest Winners

MCPS students and staff recently participated in the 2026 Sustainability Poster Contest. The focus of the contest was to increase awareness and demonstrate the importance of environmental sustainability, energy conservation, waste reduction, and responsible recycling through creative artwork. This year's entries highlighted the students' and staff members' commitment to sustainability and encouraged others to be responsible environmental stewards.

Over 2,300 students and staff participated in this year’s online judging to select the winning entries. Congratulations to the first-place winners in each category.
