Getting Students College, Career and Community Ready at Roberto Clemente Middle School

Roberto Clemente Middle School held a College and Career Community Day on Thursday, April 11. School leaders dedicated the entire school day to college and career readiness activities to educate and inspire students about their futures. The school hosted more than 40 special guests and organizations from the community during a fair.

In classrooms, students engaged in college and career-related activities such as practicing job interviewing skills, virtually touring local colleges, exploring MCPS high school programs and opportunities, and engaging with college and career self-discovery tools.

Many of the guests also held breakout small group sessions to discuss their career journey with students.  

Preparing students for college and career is key part of the MCPS strategic, Board priorities and the Blueprint for Maryland's Future.
