Supporting Services Mentoring Program

The goal of the Supporting Services Mentoring Program is to provide mentors to both new employees and existing staff to help them excel in their roles, direct them to training and on-the-job work experiences, and prepare them for career development opportunities. 

The Mentoring Program supports the Board of Education's Strategic Priority 4: Improve the recruitment, retention, and distribution of a high-quality diverse staff.

What is the Mentoring Program for supporting services employees?

The Mentoring Program is a peer mentoring program is a voluntary program that pairs mentors and mentees and helps new employees adjust to their jobs, helps existing employees excel in their careers, and provides employees with guides on valuable training to work towards professional goals.

After your initial contact with the mentor, if you both agree to meet, complete the MCPS Mentoring Program for Supporting Services: Mentee Agreement Form
