Summer RISE 2024 Student Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for students to be part of Summer RISE 2024. Summer RISE provides hands-on, career-based learning experiences to rising juniors and seniors and helps employers cultivate a talent pipeline. The program runs for five weeks, from June 26–July 26, with a minimum of 50 hours of either in-person, virtual or a combination of the two experiences. Student registration is available here. 

The Department of Partnerships is still seeking businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations to host students. Host registration closes Friday, March 15.

Be sure to join previous hosts, newly registered hosts and other prospective organizations at the first Summer RISE Host Summit on Jan. 30, 2024, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Attendees will learn about Summer RISE, best practices and how to work with MCPS students and programs beyond Summer RISE. Sign up NOW for the event and invite a friend/colleague to learn more information about the program.
