Meet the Student Representing Maryland: Lorena Wu

Lorena Wu, a rising junior at Poolesville High School, was sworn in as the 2026-2027 Maryland Student Member of the Board (SMOB) on July 1 after being appointed by Maryland Gov. Wes Moore earlier this year.
