Celebrating a 25-Year Legacy of Summer Learning and Growth
The Extended Learning Opportunities Summer Adventures in Learning (ELO SAIL) program recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with students, families, staff and community partners at Wheaton Woods Elementary School.
For 25 years, ELO SAIL has helped rising grades K–5 students from Title I elementary schools stay engaged in learning over the summer through hands-on experiences in reading, math and STEM. The free four-week program builds academic skills, sparks curiosity and helps students return to school ready to learn.
The celebration featured interactive family activities, games and opportunities to showcase the creativity, confidence and future-ready skills students have developed throughout the program. The event also recognized educators, families and community partners whose support has made ELO SAIL a lasting success.
