UDL and Early Literacy

This workshop will explore how incorporating UDL in early literacy maximizes instructional time by helping to support all learners during this critical period as they acquire reading and writing skills. Learn how Ms. O’Melia engages a wide-range of students, from struggling to above grade level through planning within the UDL framework and infusing choice for how students learn and show what they know.
There will be time to explore no, low and high tech options during this workshop that can be used with our young learners to ensure their literacy success while fostering an environment that makes each child feel empowered and motivated to learn.
This workshop is appropriate for K-2 staff.
