Galway Elementary School Celebrates the Launch of the Judy Center Early Learning Hub

The Judy Center Early Learning Hub at Galway Elementary School celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 17.

Students, staff and community members attended the event, including Board of Education Vice President Brenda Wolff. Remarks were provided by Principal Dorothea Fuller; Nichelle Owens, director of the Division of Early Childhood, Title I Programs, and Recovery Funds; and Montgomery County Councilmember Kristin Mink.

The Judy Center Early Learning Hubs support families with children from birth through age five by providing early learning opportunities, family engagement programming and connections to community resources that promote school readiness and family well-being. As part of a grant-funded partnership, the center helps ensure young children and their families have access to the resources and support needed for a strong start in school and beyond.
