MCPS Receives National Music Education Honor for Third Straight Year

MCPS has been named a 2026 Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, marking the third consecutive year the district has earned this national recognition. The award highlights MCPS’ strong commitment to providing equitable access to high-quality music education for all students. The program, which evaluates funding, participation, instruction time, facilities and community support, recognizes school districts and schools across the country for their outstanding support of music learning as part of a well-rounded education.
