Spanish Language Study Circle Leads to Changes at Wheaton HS
After completing a six-session study circle in Spanish, nine parents from the Wheaton Cluster organized a meeting with their Community Superintendent, Dr. Frank Stetson. Although several of the parents were nervous to speak in public for the first time, the study circle effectively voiced their concerns and suggestions.
Addressing the study circle's concern about cars driving too fast on a road that has both an elementary and a middle school, the county has now put up additional crosswalks, flourescent signs, and flashing lights.
