MONTGOMERY COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Extended Learning Opportunities Summer Adventures in Learning (ELO SAIL) is a 4-week summer program for rising K–5 students enrolled in Title I schools for the 2026–2027 school year. ELO SAIL will operate a four day program, running from Monday to Thursday each week. ELO SAIL will be offered at your child's Title I school of enrollment. Your school will provide more information in the coming weeks as Montgomery County Public Schools finalizes plans for the summer.
Title I elementary schools will have a 5.5 hour student day. Students will engage in hands-on, exciting, and enriching literacy, mathematics, science, or STEM instruction, social studies, and social-emotional learning. The purpose of the program is to provide all students in Title I schools with access to high-quality learning experiences to boost learning in core content areas, deepen curiosity in STEM, strengthen collaboration through speaking and listening, and develop social-emotional character. This program is provided to students enrolled in Title I schools in the fall free of charge.
