About SERT

The School Energy and Recycling Team (SERT) program within the Division of Sustainability and Compliance provides opportunities for all schools to participate in and receive incentives and recognition for their energy conservation and recycling efforts. SERT supports a balanced environment that fosters the integration of all students, enabling them to work together in a culturally diverse setting.

The SERT program provides the resources, support, and vision necessary for a successful conservation program at each school. By promoting the connections between human behavior and its impact on the environment, we reinforce our culture of conservation and increase participation in our mission to conserve resources and actively recycle.
