An appeal process is in place for those who may have a unique and verifiable hardship or unforeseen circumstances that could warrant override the school assignment process. To appeal, you must submit a letter explaining the reason for the request to the director of DCCAPS. Appeals can be mailed to 11721 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring MD 20902 or faxed to 301-649-8155. Please include your students name, MCPS ID number, parent/guardian signature, and phone number. Appeals are due by Friday, April 5, 2019. Please review the Appeal Information Letter and Optional Appeal Form.
