Youth Equity Summit Set for Jan. 12

The Montgomery County Youth Equity Summit (YES) will bring together community organizations, equity partners and youth aged 11-21 to highlight systemic oppressive components in the urban landscape and provide resources in regard to career and creative opportunities. The summit will host a variety of speakers and the event topics will include equity sessions, creative panels and career exploration.
The summit will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12 at the Universities of Shady Grove, 9630 Gudelsky Dr. in Rockville., MD 20850.
