Who doesn’t love a parade?

The annual Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade will be held from 10 a.m.–noon on Saturday, Nov. 18. The parade features high school and college marching bands, lively dance troupes, floats, fire trucks and fun inflatables. The route starts at Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street in downtown Silver Spring, heads south on Georgia Avenue and ends at Silver Spring Avenue. The parade will be held rain or shine. WJLA-TV meteorologist and Good Morning Washington host Eileen Whelan will serve as emcee.
