School Performance Program Report Summary 2001

Description:

The Maryland School Performance Program (MSPP) report is a district and state report card published since 1991. The report includes academic and non-academic data. State standards have been set on some of the data elements; others are presented as descriptive information. The 2001 data show that academic performance in the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), while experiencing some declines, remains relatively high, that the dropout rate is at its historical lowest, and that the student population continues to diversify.
