Supervising and Evaluating Performance (SEP) is a course designed to enhance the leadership skills of supervisors and managers who write evaluations for SEIU members. The four day course focuses on day to day supervision including observing and conferencing with employees, as well as using professional growth tools such as improvement plans. Another component of the course is writing evaluations including the use of a variety of sources of data over time. The foundational belief of the course is the importance of supporting professional growth for all employees. Participants must be in supervisory positions at the time of registration.
