Be socially responsible. You can help slow the spread of COVID-19 by practicing the following safety guidelines:

  • Wash your hands often using soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds.
  • If soap and water aren't available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue, your sleeve, or your elbow every time you cough or sneeze.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick.
  • If you aren't feeling well, stay away from others. Contact your health care provider if you have the symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, coughing, or shortness of breath).
  • Follow the stay-at-home guidelines and practice physical distancing.
  • Avoid unnecessary errands.
  • Remember that if you must go out, cover your face. Click here for information on face coverings.
