Unit 6

Unit Overview

In Unit 6, students learn how to use mathematics to start a business. Students determine if a business will be profitable by considering the needs of a community. Next, students examine associated startup costs, as well as operating expenses. Finally, students apply the laws of supply and demand to approximate the revenue of their proposed business.
