Challenge Dates:
Whether you're hitting new personal bests, teaming up to crush collective goals, or simply swapping the elevator for the stairs, we are all a work in progress. The Work in Progress Physical Activity Challenge celebrates effort over perfection and reminds us that the best version of ourselves is always under construction. This challenge is a great opportunity to start moving, stay consistent, support one another, and build stronger health and wellness habits.
Whether you’re just starting your wellness journey, getting back into movement after a break, or looking to push your current limits, Work in Progress celebrates every step, every rep, and every small win along the way. Gather your teammates or participate as an individual in this 8-week challenge.
All Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) staff members are eligible to participate in the Work in Progress Challenge, including elementary, secondary, transportation, and central services staff members. Participants will log their activity throughout the 8-week challenge and track their progress using the online Well Aware Fitness Log. Based on participation, you will be eligible to win prizes for your team, and your school or office.
The online Well Aware Fitness Log is available to you 24/7, so log your activity at any time!
Program Guide
Wellness challenges make use of the free online activity and nutrition tracker, the Well Aware Fitness Log. Registration for the log is free to all employees and can be done at any time, even if there is not an active wellness challenge.
