Montgomery College (MC) Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment Opportunities for WJ Students
Interested students begin the enrollment process in Grade 8 with support from their school counselors.
Interested students discuss this option with their school counselors; eligible students apply in Grade 10.
Interested students speak with their counselors then contact WJ’s Dual Enrollment Program Assistant for registration assistance. Students in Grades 9-12 may participate if they meet minimum eligibility requirements.

Important to Know!
Participants must apply to MC as Dual Enrollment students using this tutorial and receive a college ID number (M#) before requesting classes.
Students “claim” their MyMC accounts (the portal into MC) using this helpful video.
MC courses approved by MCPS for Dual Enrollment students: https://tinyurl.com/mcps-mc-courses are offered at no cost if taken during the fall, winter, or spring semesters.
MC’s Dynamic Schedule of Classes shows course logistics, descriptions, and prerequisites.
High school students register for MC classes by creating accounts and submitting requests here.
A dual credit form is required by MCPS to finalize registration.
Students with 504 Plans or IEPs who plan to use accommodations must work with MC’s Disability Support Services.
