Downcounty Consortium (DCC)

The Downcounty Consortium includes five high schools and their feeder middle and elementary schools—Blair, Einstein, Kennedy, Northwood, and Wheaton. Each DCC high school offers distinctive academy programs designed to capture students’ interest, incorporate rigorous academic course work, explore possible career pathways, and bring real world relevance to students’ education. DCC High School Choice Updates

School assignment letters for current 8th grade students who live within the DCC boundary area were mailed during the second week of January 2020.

Students who reside outside the DCC attendance area but attend a DCC middle school will be mailed instructions on how to participate in Round 2 at the end of January 2020.  Round 2 Choice forms must be submitted by Friday, February 14, 2020.

Students who participated in the Round 1 lottery and were not assigned to their first choice, have the option of resubmitting their original choices into the Round 2 lottery.  In order to access the resubmit form, students should be logged on to their school Google account and enter the URL found in the school assignment letter.  The assignment will either remain the same or go to a higher ranked school on their choice form.  Results of the Round 2 lottery will be mailed out in mid-March.

ATTENTION - Current DCC High School Students

Current 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who are interested in requesting a Change of Choice to another Downcounty consortia high school may complete the Change of Choice form.  Forms need to be submitted to the DCCAPS office by Friday, February 14, 2020.  For question please refer to the FAQ.
