County Transportation Department Hosting Safety Day on May 11

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation invites all MCPS families to Safety Day from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 in the Carver Educational Services Center (CESC) parking lot in Rockville. Safety Day will bring the community together to learn more about traffic safety in a fun and festive environment. Appropriate for all ages, this event will have dozens of activities and community partners to visit with giveaways. CESC is located at 850 Hungerford Drive in Rockville. The rain date is Saturday, May 18.

There will be free shuttle bus pickup from John F. Kennedy, Seneca Valley and Walter Johnson high schools. Pickup will run from 10:30 a.m.–3:30 pm. The last dropoff will be at 1:30 pm. Buses will run approximately every 30 minutes during the event.
