CVS/Caremark prescription drug coverage offers retirees access to short-term medications through the CVS/Caremark retail pharmacy network and long-term medications through the CVS/Caremark retail pharmacy network or Mail Order Pharmacy. Retirees have the opportunity to choose between two prescription plan options administered by CVS/Caremark, Plan Option A and Plan Option B. Prescription benefits through CVS/Caremark are not available to Kaiser Permanente participants.
All non-Medicare-eligible retirees enrolled in the Kaiser Permanente medical program who elect to receive prescription benefits receive their prescription benefit through Kaiser.
