To help students in a time of crisis, each MCPS school has a student support team consisting of a school counselor(s), a school psychologist, a pupil personnel worker, and a school nurse. Following an individual or school-wide crisis, the team provides the necessary support, care and interventions needed to help students, families and staff feel safe, secure and available for learning.
