Don’t Miss the Gaithersburg Book Festival on May 18

The Gaithersburg Book Festival, a celebration of books, writers and literary excellence, will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg.

The festival will feature a lineup of authors and activities for children of all ages. There will be programs, workshops and activities in the Children’s Village designed to promote interest in reading and writing. More than 100 authors and illustrators are scheduled to appear.

This year's author lineup includes Watkins Mill High School educator Sara Goodman Confino. Goodman Confino is the best-selling author of “Don’t Forget to Write,” “She’s Up to No Good,” “For the Love of Friends” and the forthcoming novel, “Behind Every Good Man” (August 2024). 

Admission and parking are free.
