The Montgomery County Board of Education has launched a nationwide search for the next MCPS superintendent, who will assume the role on July 1, 2024. The Board would appreciate your help as it embarks on this important task. Your input is invaluable. The Board must ensure the search process is thorough, transparent and reflective of the needs and aspirations of its diverse community, and your feedback will play a vital role in shaping the qualities and characteristics the Board seeks in the next superintendent. Watch a video from the first in-person town hall on April 2.
This survey is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts, concerns and aspirations for the district's future. The Board will carefully consider all responses in developing the leadership profile to recruit, identify and evaluate candidates.
The survey is available here.
