Are you interested in becoming a certified school counselor in MCPS? Would you like to do so for free? If so, check out the opportunity below:
Bowie State University’s Ujima Center for School Counseling offers training to become a school-based mental health counselor with evidence-based, culturally affirming and sustainable practices. Bowie State has received a grant to support these efforts in three school districts, including MCPS. After completing the master’s program in school counseling, participants would be able to work in MCPS as a certified school counselor.
