Help for Having Tough Conversations with Aging Loved Ones

When caring for an aging parent or other relative, there often comes a time to address going to the doctor for a diagnosis or medical treatment, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans for future care.

Starting these conversations can feel daunting, but they don’t have to be. Join the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter to welcome volunteer speaker Michael Brick, an MCPS alumnus, for a live webinar to learn best practices for breaking the ice and navigating these discussions with your loved ones. The webinar will be from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16. For those who can’t attend, the webinar will be recorded.
