Dr. Jeff Sullivan, systemwide Athletics Director was unanimously elected as president of the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA). The MPSSAA oversees interscholastic high school athletics for 24 public school systems in the state. He was nominated by a committee representing all nine districts in Maryland. 

Dr. Sullivan has been serving as the president-elect since June 2022. He will begin his two-year term as president in June 2024.
