The holidays can be a difficult time for individuals and families who are grieving ahead of an expected loss or those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Join the MCPS Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and CaringMatters for a Zoom webinar on Exploring Legacy & Rituals for the Bereaved at the Holidays from 5–6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Use of rituals and exploring the legacy of loved ones can provide a sense of comfort and support, and lead to positive effects, while acknowledging the impact of grief. Engaging in essential and deeply personal activities is an important way to help those who are grieving feel supported and can have a significant impact on helping individuals and families through the holidays. The CaringMatters presenter is Brandon Brewer, who has more than two decades experience in pastoral care, counseling and support for families experiencing grief and loss.

RSVP. You will receive the Zoom link via email the day before the event.
