Calling High School Students: Join Us Nov. 1 for Environmental Volunteer Day

MCPS high school students are invited to participate in Environmental Volunteer Day from 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Gaithersburg High School. The event will be held rain or shine. Nov. 1 is a non-instructional day; students can earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours for participating.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about sustainability, meet professionals in the field, and plant native plants and trees.  

Interested students are asked to complete this form by Friday, Oct. 27. Bus transportation is available from select schools.
