Hundreds of New Educators Introduced to MCPS

Hundreds of new MCPS teachers were introduced to MCPS at the New Educator Orientation (NEO) from Aug. 15–17 at Gaithersburg and Paint Branch high schools.

The annual New Educator Orientation welcomes newly hired teachers to MCPS. Educators had the opportunity to meet colleagues and learn about the MCPS curriculum. They also attended  workshops on creating conditions for success in the classroom, heard from Superintendent Monifa McKnight, heard about supports available to them and learned about working with students of all abilities in the classroom.
