Mr. Gary B. Bartee is a Director of the Leadership Development Program. He is responsible for providing a structured and sequential Leadership Development Program (LDP) that culminates with the preparation of highly skillful leaders who possess the necessary attitude, knowledge, and skills to meet the ever changing demands of the school principalship. Prior to his current position, Mr. Bartee served as the Vice President of Leadership Development of Montgomery County Association of Administrators and Principals (MCAAP). In addition to supporting the professional learning communities of secondary and elementary principals and assistant principals as the MCAAP VP, Mr. Bartee also co-chaired the Montgomery County Public Schools Peer Assistance and Review Panels for support staff, teachers and administrators. The panels were charged with overseeing and reviewing consultant support to novice teachers, novice principals, as well as under-performing support staff, teachers and administrators that result in performance improvements, demotions or dismissal from employment. During his thirty year career as a public educator he has served as both an elementary school and middle school teacher, an elementary and middle school principal for fourteen years and for the past seven years as a central services district leader.
