Montgomery Parks - Adaptive Equipment

Montgomery Parks strives to promote access and inclusion within the public places, facilities, and programs the department manages. The Program Access Office (Inclusion Services) has made various adaptive equipment available throughout the county for people at no additional cost to the user.

Procedures will vary based on the location. Please read each description for specific details.

Lollipop Kids Foundation

Lollipop Kids Foundation provides families with a variety of supports. They collect used durable medical equipment, refurbish it, and match to a child in need. Lollipop kids has parent/sibling support groups, events, and offers sensory friendly haircuts.They have a calendar of events on their website to keep track of their activities.

Equipment Connections

Equipment Connections takes used durable medical equipment (DME) and matches with children in need. Their website also has a calendar of accessible events and workshops. If a family has DME that their child outgrew or no longer needs, they can donate to Equipment Connections.

Maryland Durable Medical Equipment Re-use

Providing durable medical equipment (DME) to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost. All equipment is collected via donation and is sanitized, repaired, and redistributed to Marylanders in need.
