MCPS Spotlight features stories about Montgomery County Public Schools staff and students. Produced multiple times each month the program is a great way to get a peak behind the scenes in the districts' classrooms, schools, and offices.
Several episodes are featured on this page but don't forget to check out the show archive for more great content.
The NAACP Parents’ Council and Identity, Inc. hosted the Black and Brown Forum for Educational Equity and Excellence at Gaithersburg High School. The forum brought together a cross section of County education stakeholders, advocacy partners supporting the Black and Brown Educational Equity Coalition, and other community leaders for a discussion and exploration of solutions to create better educational outcomes for Black and Brown students.
