New Retirees Appreciation (FY 2026)

Congratulations are in order for 659 new Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) retirees! On June 9, 2026, these new retirees were officially recognized for their service to MCPS and its students at a reception held at Seneca Valley High School.

The Board of Education (BOE) and the superintendent of schools presented a Certificate of Appreciation to members of the retiree class of 2026 who attended the reception. Certificates will be mailed to those new retirees who were unable to attend the event.
