Volunteer recruitment for the ELO program will take place from April 18th - May 6, 2016.
Extended Learning Opportunities Summer Adventures in Learning (ELO SAIL) and Extended Learning Opportunities Summer Title 1 Enrichment Programs (ELO STEP) are Montgomery County Public Schools' (MCPS) summer programs offered at federally funded Title I schools for a four week period. Breakfast and lunch are provided for ELO students and volunteers under the age of 18 years old. Volunteers will work under the supervision of a teacher to provide classroom support and assist with other activities.
Volunteers will be assigned to work in either of the ELO programs:

Student volunteers must be entering at least 7th grade in fall 2016.
Commit to volunteer for the duration of the program, July 5 - July 29, 2016 (19 days).
1. Complete and submit the online ELO volunteer application.
2. Print and sign the volunteer commitment form.
3. Make a copy of a photo identification (ID), such as school ID.
