A revised policy (IFA) on curriculum has been tentatively adopted for community comment by the Board of Education. The members of the Board of Education have invited the public to provide any reaction or comments on the revised policy. A copy of the revised policy is provided (see below) as a PDF file for the public's review and consideration.

The policy is designed to provide a process to manage the curriculum of the Montgomery County Public Schools by establishing the structure for curriculum design and delivery and a systematic basis for decision-making and standardized practice.

Individuals with comments about the revised policy should respond in writing by mail by February 2, 2001. All responses should be mailed to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20850. Responses will be shared with the Board of Education.
