State Assessment Results: Reading, Math and Other Subjects on MSPAP to be Released at Press Conference

November 21, 2000
Superintendent Jerry D. Weast will be joined by state and local officials at a press conference to present Maryland School Performance Assessment Program (MSPAP) results for Montgomery County Public Schools. The press conference will take place on Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Wyngate Elementary School.

Dr. Pamela Hoffler-Riddick, associate superintendent for shared accountability, will provide a detailed analysis of test data. Barbara Leister, principal of Wyngate Elementary School, will discuss successful strategies she has used to improve MSPAP performance. The press event will focus on overall scores for the county as well as ways in which individual schools, such as Wyngate Elementary, have made significant advances in test results.

Release of Montgomery County data will follow the announcement of statewide MSPAP results by State Superintendent Nancy S. Grasmick in Baltimore earlier the same day.
