May 22, 2000
Students at the Thomas Edison High School of Technology will be recognized at a cornerstone ceremony marking their completion of a student-built house in the Connecticut Avenue Estates community in Silver Spring. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. at 12936 Dean Road in Silver Spring.

This is the 29th house built by students in the construction program in cooperation with the Montgomery County Students Construction Trades Foundation, Inc. Members of the foundation are leaders in the building and real estate field who provide their expertise and guidance to the building projects.
