Congressional App Challenge
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- Middle and high school students who live in or attend school in Rep. Raskin’s 8th Congressional District are eligible to take part in the Congressional App Challenge.
- Students can enter individually or as part of a team of up to four members.
- At least half of teammates on any team must live or attend school in Rep. Raskin’s 8th Congressional District.
ANY APP. ANY PLATFORM. ANY CODING LANGUAGE.
- Students can use any programming language and any platform.
- There are NO LIMITS on application theme or topic!
HOW TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE
- The deadline for students to submit their app online is 12:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 30, 2025.
- Any app coded after October 24, 2024 is eligible.
- Register online and once your app is built, submit a short 1-3 minute video showing what it does and how it works, along with a brief description, the tools used, and what inspired them.
- Students may only submit ONE app per year.
- Multiple entries across multiple teams are not allowed.
