Everett Davis

Davis3 My name is Everett Davis and I am pleased to serve as your principal. A quote by Malcolm X guides my daily interactions with all stakeholders. “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” I am a proud product of the Maryland educational system. I graduated from MCPS, the University of Maryland, College Park, and Bowie State University. I am happily married and my wife and I are the proud parents of three sons, Spencer, Byron and Wesley. My professional passions include mentoring (students & staff) and engagement/outreach to our parents and community. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, grilling (and eating), traveling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to being in the “middle” with you.

Matthew NiperI am proud to be the Principal Intern at Redland Middle School and privileged to serve as an administrator in Montgomery County Public Schools. As the Principal Intern at Redland Middle School, I will work with our administrative team, leadership team and staff to continue the work of raising the level of achievement for all students. I strongly believe that through positive relationship building and a belief in each student as an individual, every student can be successful and accomplish their set goals.

I am dedicated to a strong and well-rounded student and I look forward to working with your students to develop this. In addition, respect is important to a student and their success. I continuously stress the importance of being respectful and how it makes stronger individuals throughout life. Overall, I envision your students will encounter an environment atRedland Middle School that is supportive, challenging, fun and unique and I look forward to continuously working towards making Redland Middle School stand out as the BEST middle school in MCPS.

This is my 10th year as an administrator in MCPS and I look forward to supporting the students, implementing the vision or MCPS and continuing the strong community relationships, outstanding instructional programs, and highly effective collaboration.
