Summer School Registration Opens in March

Summer school registration for high school opens on Monday, March 9. For information about registration, students should see their school counselor.  

Changes are coming to this year’s programs. MCPS will implement a four-day week — 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The high school program will run from July 7–21 and July 23–Aug. 6. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, transportation is available, and tuition is $364.25 for students taking courses for original credit or grade improvement. Reduced fees are available for eligible students.

Registration for the middle school program begins on Monday, March 23. The IGNITE Middle School Academy will run from 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m. July 7–Aug. 6. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Tuition is $100 and reduced fees are available for eligible students.
